Legal advice and representation for companies

Have your goods been damaged during transportation or were they delivered too late? Do you require support in drafting or interpreting transport contracts, or are you experiencing difficulties in dealing with customs clearance? Do you understand the applicable law?

The coronavirus crisis has shown how essential an efficient and flexible logistics system is for a stable country. The rise of digitalisation and rapid developments in IT have been constantly influencing the logistics sector – and environmental protection considerations have made stringent requirements necessary. We are pragmatic, quick to get to grips with problems and have a keen eye for essential detail: our aim is to provide legal advice that makes your everyday operations more straightforward.

Since the 2000s, automated systems have increasingly been used in the transport of goods (be they small or large) in Switzerland. These developments are being driven forward, on the one hand, by transport and AI companies themselves and, on the other, by actors such as the Dalle Molle Institute for Artificial Intelligence Studies (IDSIA USI-SUPSI) in the Canton of Ticino or the AI Center of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich, as well as by decisions in the fields of domestic and foreign policy. Indeed, the Federal Office of Justice (FOJ) is preparing an AI regulation consultation template to implement the Framework Convention on Artificial Intelligence and Human Rights, Democracy and the Rule of Law of the Council dated 17 May 2024; this is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2026.

Kanzlei König has been a member of the Association Network Logistics (Verein Netzwerk Logistik, VNL) Switzerland since 2021.
